2025-26 is set to be the "biggest ever" season for a Kenilworth sports club.

Kenilworth Town's club chairman has thanked the 100+ volunteers, coaches and helpers at the club who help run football and netball sessions for youngsters throughout the week.

Player membership across the club has also grown rapidly, with now well over 500 children - and now veterans - taking part in the various teams.

"With huge pride I share that this new '25/'26 season sees further club growth with a record number of members now playing sport with KT," chairman Marcus Leek wrote.

"An incredible 545 players across football and netball, from U8's right up to our brand-new Veterans team."

He added: "I would like to extend a very warm welcome to all our new teams, players & families, KT is now helping more kids and adults in our community enjoy playing team sport than ever before, thank you for your continued support - here's to an unforgettable season ahead."

As well as the growing size of the club, Kenilworth Town has also celebrated fundraising of over £10,000 for local charities.

This season Kenilworth Town will be supporting The Kenilworth Centre and SOS Silence of Suicide throughout the year.

Following the success of the new leadership team at Kenilworth Town Football Club, Kenilworth Town Netball was launched in June 2023 to provide fun and accessible sport to the community.

Both sections of the club have continued to prove a big hit with the local community.

The football side now has 25 teams with 375 registered players, including 60 girls across three teams.

Meanwhile the netball setup boats 170 members across 12 teams.
