Kenilworth Rugby's senior women's squad travelled to Cannock RFC on Saturday 15 for a final fixture before their pre-season into the Championship North.

The women's XV made it two wins from two, with an impressive 32-5 victory over Cannock. Kenilworth had previously beaten Birmingham Moseley 24-12 in their first game for 14 months.

Against Cannock, it was clear from the first hit this was going to be a physical game from both sides.

Both teams had a mixture of experience with Kenilworth fielding several debut players, but from the sidelines the away side looked like they had steady patterns of play, and a strong defence.

A physical game played in good spirits ended with a 32-5 victory for Kenilworth.
