Former Kenilworth youth player Jacob Umaga made his senior international debut for England during their 43-29 victory over USA at Twickenham yesterday.
Umaga, who plays his club rugby for Wasps, was a member of the junior setup at Kenilworth from the under 8's all the way up to the under 16's.
Educated at Kenilworth School, Umaga normally plays fly-half but came on as a centre in yesterday's game as coach Eddie Jones named only two backs on his bench.
Umaga entered the field on nine minutes after Max Malins injured his shoulder offloading the ball for Sam Underhill's try.
Twelve players were given senior debuts yesterday - the most in any England game since 1947.
Umaga, who has already represented England at Under-20s level, comes from fine international rugby stock. His father, Mike, made 13 appearances for Samoa, whilst his uncle, Tana, is a former captain of the All Blacks.
England will play again on Saturday, July 10 as they host Canada.
