Kenilworth Wardens' Sunday side bounced back from their first loss of the season at Cubbington with a hard earned victory over Southam.

Southam took a quick and unexpected lead on 10 minutes, with a brilliant free kick from 25 yards, up and over the wall into the top corner, leaving Wardens' keeper with no chance.

Wardens equalised on 20 minutes, with debutant Archie Evans playing a through ball to Dan Twigger to strike home.

Wardens quickly took the lead on 22 minutes when a Twigger shot was saved, Ethan Price's effort was cleared off the line, but Harry Morris managed to fire in the rebound through a group of players from 18 yards out for his fourth goal of the season.
