Kenilworth Sporting will play their second league match of the season tonight, against Castle Vale Town.

Sporting played their first competitive fixture since March at the beginning of the month, starting their 2020/21 campaign with a 5-0 thrashing of W L V Sporting.

Kenilworth led 1-0 at half time, before capitalising on their advantage to net four times in the second half.

Goals came courtesy of Ascroft, Wilson, and a hat trick for Man of the Match, Luke Steer.

Kenilworth were due to face Tamworth Academy last weekend, however the game had to be postponed, after a member of the Tamworth camp received a positive Covid-19 test.

Sporting will once again be on the road today, facing bottom of the league Castle Vale.

Tonight's hosts lost 6-1 to Birmingham Tigers in their opening game, and then fell 7-1 to Central Ajax last time out.

Sporting, who currently sit sixth in the Midland Football League Division Three, will hope to build on their previous result tonight, before they finally return to their Gypsy Lane home ground this Saturday to host local rivals Leamington Hibernian.
