Despite career best first XI scores of 92 by Henry Curran and 65 for Charlie Stranks Kenilworth Cricket Club had to settle for a draw against Nether Whitacre as they ran out of overs in Saturday's Warwickshire County Cricket League Division One clash.
The pair shared in a 149-run fourth wicket partnership with Curran nearing his century after just 87 balls.
Chris Prophet also made 29 and Joe Atkinson 20 in the Town's total of 261 for four as they tried to chase down Nether Whitacre's 282.
Steve Rhodes took 3-59, Tom Skinner 2-41, Atkinson 2-56 and a wicket for Darius Potten-Ravenshad.
Whitacre's Rawlings had earlier made 128, Smith 58, Lawrence 28 and Murphy 21 on a day where runs flowed.
Curran also took a catch and made two stumpings behind the wicket.
Elsewhere the second XI lost by 51 runs to Nether Whitacre in the Warwickshire County Cricket League Division Seven East tie.
And the third XI beat Rowington by 24 runs.
