Neighbours Barford made the short trip to Kenilworth on Sunday for a 40-over friendly.
Barford set a run total of 113 for 10 (37.2 overs) for the hosts to chase, which Kenilworth caught with two wickets and 12 overs to spare.
Barford's Tobin (18) and Griffin (15) struck a third wicket 40-run partnership, after the away side lost two quick wickets.
Forshaw added 11 whilst their score was bolstered by 38 extras.
Matt Dadswell took a fine four for 16 from his 6.2 overs, Matt Casey two for seven from six frugal overs, and Christian Mortlock claimed two from seven. Shyaan Imam took chipped in with one wicket for just seven runs and Will Machin claimed the final wicket.
In reply, opener, Dan Horner retired when he reached 50 (7 x 4). Adam Huxford added 26 (2 x 4) and youngster Keeran Umashanker posted 14 as the side stuttered to the winning line.
The hosts were perhaps not as convincing as they could have been, losing eight wickets, but they managed to reach their 114 target with 12 overs to spare. This despite the best efforts of Tobin who took three for 12, Griffin two for 10 and Forshaw one for 15 for Barford.
