Despite an impressive opening partnership from Stuart Cope and Joe Atkinson, Kenilworth slumped to a seven wicket Warwickshire County Cricket League defeat at the hands of Handsworth.
Cope and Atkinson's 71 share had put the town in a promising position, but the rest of the order could only take them to 163.
Handsworth's Dwayne Crossgill removed Kenilworth's top five and then Kenrick Smith took 4-16 as only three other home batsmen reached double figures.
Handsworth then cantered to victory with ten overs to spare as opener Renwick Hooper blasted an unbeaten 84 from 100 balls with Prince chipping in with 25 and Dawkins 24 as they easily reached 165 for three.
Darius Potten-Ravenshad took 2-39 for the Town, whilst Atkinson picked up the other Handsworth wicket.
Elsewhere the Kenilworth second XI beat Fillongley by nine wickets.
Whilst the thirds lost by seven wickets to Lapworth.
