Following its cancellation in 2020 due to the pandemic, the annual Boxing Day cyclo-cross returned to Kenilworth Common today.

Organised by Coventry Road Club, today's was the 67th instalment of what is believed to be the oldest cyclo-cross race in the UK.

And with the Boxing Day Duck Race postponed until New Year's day there was a large crowd out to cheer on the competitors through the common.

The race was divided into three events. First the under 10's hit the course at 11am, followed by the under 12s at 11.15am.

Then at 12pm all other age groups took to the course to see how many laps of the common they could complete in one hour.

Kenilworth Nub News will bring you the results when they are released.

But for now enjoy this gallery of images from Richard Smith.
