Timothy Reginald Brewer – Tim

Tim passed away peacefully on Monday 27 January 2025 aged 69 years.

Having moved to Kenilworth nearly 20 years ago, Tim was often seen around the town being well known for his humour, friendship and compassion.

He enjoyed frequenting the various coffee shops in Kenilworth, ordering his usual "extra hot cappuccino" and having a chat and a joke with staff, friends and fellow customers.

Tim had been a member of, and involved with, St. John's Church for many years and was a former Director of The King's Table Charity (the coffee and gift shop backed by the Church which welcomed everyone for company and fellowship selling gifts, food and drinks).

He also organised and took part in many fund-raising activities including the Dragon Boat Races, Fun Runs, charitable barbeques and enjoyed walking and visiting The Talisman Theatre and the Warwick Arts with friends.

In early October last year he was diagnosed with a rare liver cancer which quickly spread and led to him spending time at the Warwick Hospital and latterly in the Myton Hospice in Warwick.

Tim made many good friends from not just in and around Kenilworth but around the UK and beyond including Spain and France, all of whom, together with his brother and his family, made his last few months as comfortable as possible.

If you would like to donate in memory of Tim, his chosen charity is Myton Hospice, Warwick. Donations can be made by going online at mytonhospice.org or calling 01926 358383.
