Transport police are appealing for information after a woman died following an incident on the tracks at Canley Railway Station.

At 1.15pm on Saturday 5 November, officers were called to the station following reports of a casualty on the tracks.

Paramedics also attended, but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her next of kin have been informed and her death is not being treated as suspicious.

"Officers believe there were two other people on the tracks at the time of the incident and are appealing to witnesses, or anyone with information, to get in touch to assist their enquiries," a British Transport Police spokesperson said.

Witnesses are asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 206 of 05/11/22.
