An award-winning street food business is set to take over the kitchen of a Kenilworth restaurant for one night only today (November 11).

Meat Meets Bun will be running the pop-up event at Time for Tea on Castle Hill from 4pm this afternoon.

Chris Hardy launched the burger business in April 2021 shortly after quitting his job as an engineer at Rolls Royce.

Having worked in hospitality after leaving school, Chris then lost his appetite for working with food, but it was launching his own food blog that rekindled his desire to work with food again.

Since launching MMB has been an instant hit with locals and even saw Chris compete in the finals of the National Burger Awards in April.

And for one night only he will be bringing a limited menu to the popular restaurant.

Posting on Facebook MMB said: "So the Time For Tea pop-up is happening and we're bringing what you love plus a 'lil' more.

"This Friday from 4pm 'til 9pm, you'll be able to book yourself a table (or chance walking in) and come feast on some MMB delights!

"Think burgers and sides galore with a cheeky dessert thrown in for good measure!"

There will also be limited takeaway slots, but MMB said eating in guests will come first.
