1. Santa's Grotto

Kenilworth Fire Station will be decked out ready for some festive cheer this weekend as it is turned into Santa's Grotto.

From 2pm to 5pm on Saturday (December 16) families will be able to head to the School Lane station to meet Santa and join in with some festive games - all while raising money for charity.

There will also be a tombola, arts and crafts, balloon modelling and refreshments.

Tours around the station will also be offered, as well as a chance to meet the Kenilworth crew.

And there will also be Children's characters including the Grinch coming to visit.

2. Carols at the Castle

The Coventry Salvation Army band will be joined by the children of St. Augustine's School and Kenilworth School to provide the musical lead ads Carols at the Castle returns on Saturday.

The ruins will be "filled with the sights and sounds" of Kenilworth Lions' annual Carols at the Castle event

Mulled wine and hot chocolate will be available, as usual, to keep the cold at bay.

The castle will open at 5.15pm, with the carol singing starting at 6pm. Admission is £5 for adults and free for children.
