Here are our top picks for the coming days:

1. Medieval Day Out

Take a trip back in time to 'A Grand Medieval Day Out' this Bank Holiday weekend where historical characters will come together for the English Heritage event from 30 April to 1 May.

Visitors to the 900-year-old castle will be transported back to Kenilworth's medieval prime with re-enactors and musical performances throughout the grounds.

Throughout the day explore the bustling camp where you can meet tradespeople, the knights on campaign and the families supporting them.

See traditional crafts in action including the blacksmith, woodworkers and weavers.

More details here.

2. Cinema

It's cinema time again at Kenilworth's Talisman Theatre.

Fully equipped with a 200 inch, HD screen and 7.1 surround sound, the Barrow Road theatre will be showing Mrs Harris Goes to Paris!

Mrs. Harris Goes To Paris tells the story of a widowed cleaning lady in 1950s London who falls madly in love with a couture Dior dress and decides that she must have one of her own.

After she works, starves, and gambles to raise the funds to pursue her dream, she embarks on an adventure to Paris which will change not only her own outlook, but the very future of the House of Dior.

More details here.

3. Live Music

Kenilworth's smallest live music venue, the Tree House Bookshop, is hosting Iona Lane tonight (April 27).

Iona Lane is a Leeds-based folk singer, songwriter and storyteller.

She released her debut album 'Hallival' in March 2022 to critical acclaim, reaching number 36 in the Folk Album Charts and airplay across the country including the folk shows on BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio Scotland and BBC Radio Wales.

The event gets underway at from 7pm and is BYOB!
