Iona Lane is a Leeds based folk singer, songwriter and storyteller. Iona released her debut album 'Hallival' in March 2022 to critical acclaim, reaching number 36 in the Folk Album Charts and airplay across the country including the folk shows on BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio Scotland and BBC Radio Wales. Iona's music draws inspiration from landscapes and the natural world, finding stories in rural locations of mythology, folklore and science and giving them new life in folk music. Accompanied by intricate guitar playing and the hypnotic tones of a shruti box, Iona's voice has been captivating audiences up and down the country.
