And don't forget - Kenilworth Market runs at Abbey End every Thursday from 9am to 3pm.

Here are our top picks for the coming days:

1. Halloween Fringe

It's that time of the month again, with Talisman Fringe returning to the Holiday Inn on Thursday (October 5).

This month's edition is Halloween themed, and will see the evening kickstarted with a troupe of dancing zombies!

Followed by live music, plenty of comedy and intrigue in two short plays, it is not one to be missed.

And as always, there will be two performances - one at 7.30pm and one at 9pm.

More details here.

2. Pottery Workshop

The events at the Basement Snug keep coming, with a Pottery Workshop being held this Saturday (October 7).

Join Janet from Janet Roberts Ceramics and learn some of the basic techniques of working with clay and hand building.

In this workshop you’ll make and glaze your very own slab wall plant hanger in white stoneware clay - which is dishwasher proof, microwave and oven safe and even frost proof, ensuring the longevity of your piece.

During the workshop you’ll be treated to prosecco (or non-alcoholic alternatives) and nibbles, whilst you enjoy this relaxing and feel good evening in the studio. Following the workshop your finished piece will be fired twice by Janet, who will contact you to arrange collection.

More details here.

3. Drive-in Cinema

Hatton Country World is hosting spooky screenings on Saturdays throughout October, with the first coming this weekend.

There will also be a choice of classic horror films at the drive-in cinema experience with two showings being held each day.

The films will include Saw, Friday 13th, Hocus Pocus, Scream, Rocky Horror, Beetle Juice, The Addams Family, Nightmare on Elm Street, Ghostbusters, and Final Destination.

"As the sun sets, our giant outdoor screen comes to life, showcasing classic horror movies that will send shivers down your spine," organisers said.

"Stay cosy inside your car as you watch the chilling tales unfold, and if you dare, roll down your windows to feel the eerie night air.

"Beware of surprises lurking in the shadows!"
