New watch shop to open in former Kenilworth bank

James Moore & Co and First Class Watches has announced the launch of a new "co-branded store" in Kenilworth.
The new store on Warwick Road will replace the former Barclays bank, with planning permission for the signs at the unit signed off on earlier this year.
The new location will be the third site for James Moore and Co which took over the former King's Table Café unit on Warwick Road in 2021 to become a new office space and warehouse for First Class Watches.
"Our new store will showcase a curated selection of prestigious watch brands and exquisite jewellery, offering an elevated experience for discerning collectors and new enthusiasts alike," the business said.
"Designed to reflect the craftsmanship and heritage of the brands we represent, the space blends modern elegance with a deep appreciation for horological excellence.
"We look forward to welcoming both long-standing and new customers to discover a new level of luxury retail."

The existing shop on the other side of Warwick Road will continue to operate as usual.
The Warwick Road bank shut its doors to customers in January 2022, with Barclays saying only 15 customers used it exclusively.
The bank also said that cash deposits were down 59 per cent and counter transactions down 39 per cent in 2019-20 compared to 2017-18.
It is the second bank unit to be converted into a jewellers in Kenilworth with Edmonds last year turning the former HSBC bank into a shop and a cafe.
