Kenilworth's rare white wallaby has been sighted again, with possibly the best video of him yet shared on social media.

Spotted by Julie Purvin, of Taylor Made Nails, 'Colin' can seen making his way along the edge of a field off Chase Lane, in the direction of Kenilworth Castle.

Julie spotted him whilst out walking her dogs at around 6am.

She said it was "a very surreal experience but amazing equally".

The footage shows the marsupial making his way along the hedgerow and stopping to look at Julie, seemingly as she calls out his name.

She can then be heard asking: "Oh my god! Does he know?"

The wallaby was first spotted in Kenilworth last October, and there have been a number of sightings across the area since.

Kenilworth Nub News has reported the sighting by teenager Harriet Billyeald on her way to school, as well as sharing a video by Kenilworth Dogs Trust staff, and another by Warwickshire Police.

Whilst social media has been full of speculation as to where Colin has come from, the RSPCA said it was likely the wallaby had escaped from a private collection.

"Most people may be unaware that wallabies are considered established in the wild in Britain, as a result of escaping from captivity, although they are not a native species to the UK," a spokesperson said.

"Our advice to people who spot a wallaby in the wild is to watch from afar and don't try to approach them."
