Warwickshire brewery bought in major investment deal

A local brewery has been sold to a new firm as part of a major deal this week.
Purity Brewing Co is one of a number of breweries bought by newly-formed Great British Drinks Company.
The deal is believed to have cost around £4.5 million.
The move will see jobs saved at Purity as well as at Yorkshire's Black Sheep Brewery, Brew By Numbers, Brick Brewery, North Brewing Company, Magic Rock Brewing and Fourpure Brewing Co which are all part of the Keystone Brewing Group.
Keystone had announced last month it was bringing in administrators while it looked for a potential sale.
Purity - which is based in Great Alne - was previously bought by Breal Group-backed Keystone in 2023.
The new owner has committed investing up to £2 million across the Keystone group to restore the business.
Ravi Sharma, co-founder of the Great British Drinks Company, said: "The next few months will be exciting, the business has some fantastic people, brilliant customers and a group of suppliers that we will be very focussed on rebuilding relationships with.
"The great British Drinks company is open for business and here for the long term."
