Two members of staff at Warwickshire Hospital were allegedly assaulted and racially abused by a patient last night.

The staff were treating a 44-year-old man overnight (20-21 May) before the alleged incident occurred.

A Warwickshire Police statement said: "Two members of staff at Warwick Hospital were allegedly assaulted and racially abused by a man who had just received treatment.
