The Boot Inn has closed for a month for a major refurbishment.

The Lapworth pub closed at the end of September and is due to reopen on Saturday 17 October.

Refurbishments include works to the kitchen, toilets and seating areas.

The pub - which is part of the Lovely Pubs group - has promised "exciting changes" over the coming weeks.

It has already shared preview photographs on social media.

"The Boot Inn is getting a refresh, and we can't wait to welcome you back through the doors," the pub said in an update this week.

"The countdown is officially on… 14 days to go!"

Earlier this year, The Boot Inn was shortlisted at the National Pub & Bar Awards.
