The Accident and Emergency Department at Warwick Hospital has been allowed to reopen following a temporary closure

The A&E department at Kenilworth's closest hospital had to be temporarily closed today (December 11) following an "'emergency maintenance issue."

An NHS South Warwickshire Foundation Trust spokesperson has said "following a temporary closure today, the Emergency Department at Warwick Hospital is now fully operational again and the site is safe and secure.

"Thank you to all the teams and colleagues who have helped us manage this incident and as well to the public for their understanding."
