The Co-op in the centre of Henley-in-Arden has reopened following a six-week refurbishment.

The 2,400 sq ft store reopened "with a fresh new-look" on Friday (March 7).

The refit includes an enhanced range of fresh and healthy produce, and a focus on food-to-go and meal deals; Fairtrade products, in store bakery and, award winning wines. 

Added services include a Costa Coffee Express and payment services via PayPoint. 

Works also included new, more energy efficient, refrigeration. 

Soft plastic recycling is also available in the store, enabling consumers to return harder to recycle materials such as crisp packets and bread bags, lids from ready meals, biscuit wrappers and, pet food pouches.

Self-scan tills have also been added.

Ben Wakefield, Co-op’s store manager, said: “The whole team is delighted to relaunch Co-op’s Henley in Arden store.

Co-op’s Henley-in-Arden store opens between 7am-10pm daily.
