The latest planning application for a former Kenilworth cocktail bar has been approved by Warwick District Council.
Planners have given permission to remove the old signs and install new ones at The Kenilworth.
This is the latest step as the bar on Warwick Road is converted into an 'aparthotel'.
Permission was last year signed off for the building to be turned partly into a house and partly into an aparthotel.
This latest application has shown the accommodation is to be called the 'Rose & Rampart Hotel'.
The business on Warwick Road is a listed building, so planning permission must be given before changes can be made to the front of the building.
Plans have now been signed off to take down all the old signage and for two small sign boards to be installed to the front.
"The proposed changes to the external signage will be required to allow the future users of the buildings where to enter," the application said.
Signing off on the application, a council report said: "Overall, it is considered that the works would preserve the special architectural and historic interest of the listed building.
"It is therefore recommended that this application for Listed Building consent be granted."
