A driver caught speeding near Kenilworth is set to be handed over to the UK Border Agency after police discovered they were in the country illegally.

Officers from Warwickshire Police's Operational Patrol Unit spotted the VW Caddy van speeding on the A46 northbound near Kenilworth.

The vehicle was stopped and police found the driver had no insurance or driving licence.

A roadside immigration check confirmed the driver was in the UK illegally.
