On 1 December "Waverley - Caring in the Community" will be outside Robert Dyas for its yearly Christmas Tombola.

In addition to the tombola, Waverley will be selling sweet bags and lucky dip bags for children and its exclusive notelets and Christmas Cards designed by local artist John Straw.

"Join us at the beginning of the festive month to support Waverley and the service it provides to the community," organisers said.

Tombola tickets will be £1 a go, if you are lucky and pull out a number ending in zero or five then you will be taking home a kindly donated tombola prize.

Sweet bags and lucky dip bags will be priced at 50p and £1 accordingly.

"Please join us and support your local community support network and charity," the Waverley team added.

"If you would like to donate towards to the Tombola please feel free to drop the item into Waverley (65 Waverley Road, Kenilworth CV8 1JL) during our opening hours of Tuesday to Friday."

If you are interested in becoming a guest at Waverley, or if you have a relative or friend who would benefit from meeting new people, contact Anne Cross on 01926 852365 or by email at [email protected].
