A set of new greetings cards have gone on sale, all in aid of a local day centre.

The cards come with the work of local artist John Straw who has donated the pieces to help raise money for the Waverley Day Centre.

The Duckling is a pack of 10 notelets (costing £5) and the charity is requesting people to 'Name the Duckling' at the Kenilworth Lions Grand Show next month where it will have a stand.

The second card is a Christmas card, complete with a robin, (£1) which is now available.

Both Kenilworth Books and The Tree House Bookshop are also selling them, with all proceeds going to Waverley - Caring in Kenilworth.

The charity has thanked by John and Emmerson Printing on Farmer Ward Road for sponsoring the first print run.

The Waverley Day Centre, on Waverley Road offers daytime social activities and freshly cooked lunches for older people in Kenilworth.
