Local book lovers are in for a treat next month as Kenilworth Books welcomes Sunday Times bestselling author Libby Page to a special Supper Club event.

The evening on Wednesday 18 February will give attendees the chance to hear from Libby as she discusses her new work 'This Book Made Me Think of You' with bookseller Charlotte Vaughan.

And for just £10 a ticket, local booklovers can also enjoy a hot jacket potato with a choice of toppings while they listen.

Charlotte told Nub News: "We are super excited to have Libby come and visit us in Kenilworth.

"She is a fabulous author and her previous books - The Lido, The 24-Hour Café and The Island Home - have all been really popular with our customers in Kenilworth.

"We are sure this event will sell out fast, so make sure you book your ticket as soon as possible to avoid missing out!"

Described as a "thought-provoking" and "feel-good read," This Book Made Me Think of You tells the story of Tilly Nightingale who receives a call saying there is a birthday gift from her husband waiting at her local bookshop.

The news comes as a surprise both because Tilly doesn't often read for pleasure, but also because Joe died five months before…

The gift contains a carefully-curated selection of books from Joe to help her discover who she is after his passing.

Find out more from the author herself in Kenilworth on Wednesday 18 February at Kenilworth Senior Citizen's Club.

Book your ticket on the Kenilworth Books website here.
