Works to complete the much-delayed and over-budget A46 Stoneleigh junction are to resume this month, Warwickshire County Council has confirmed.
The project - which was due to be finished in summer 2022 - has stalled significantly as a new contract was agreed with contractors.
But a notice on the council's website said work was due to get underway again on Monday 12 January.
It said: "Preparation works have now been completed, and the site is ready for the remaining work, which has now been instructed, to start on 12 January.
"Traffic management will remain in place for the duration of the scheme.
"We look forward to this and would like to thank everyone again for their patience.
"Going forward, we will do all we can to keep the necessary disruption to a minimum and will keep the public informed of progress on a regular and timely basis."
The latest publicly-available financial estimate for the overdue and over budget work is £57 million – 50 per cent more than initially budgeted for.
A new completion date of spring/summer 2027 was confirmed by the local authority last year.
