The new owners of a Malaysian restaurant in Kenilworth are encouraging locals to come and try their new menu, with the launch of an exciting new offer.

Nub News readers can now make the most of this exclusive offer at Raffles on Warwick Road where they can try a main course from the new menu, with a glass of wine or a bottle of beer for just £15.

The offer - which runs everyday between 5.30pm and 10.30pm until the end of October - is "a fantastic opportunity to try Raffles new menu".

The Malaysian eatery's new menu was announced earlier this year, bringing a range of "authentic and exciting dishes".

Introduced on September 1, the new menu at Raffles features a selection of healthy starters, where the dishes are steamed rather than fried or grilled.

New options at the independent eatery include Mandarin Tim Sum, vegetable dumplings, okra salmon and duck gyoza.

The new menu is the latest exciting announcement for the town centre hotel which earlier this year was taken over by new management.

Business partners Subbu Meyyappan and Peri Murugaraman took over at the Peacock in January, and have already launched the new Feather Bar & Grill restaurant on site - running alongside Raffles.

"This really helps with the hotel as well, as now we have 32 rooms, the Malaysian restaurant in Raffles and now Feather Bar & Grill," Subbu explained to Nub News earlier this year. 

"So if someone comes for 10 days, maybe they don't want Malaysian food in Raffles every night, so now we are giving them lots of choice and at an affordable price all under one roof. 

"We are serving the local community as well as our guests from much further afield."
