Get ready for a magical adventure this festive season as the Talisman Theatre brings Stephen Duckham's "hilarious and heartwarming" pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk, to life.

Packed with "laughter, music, and plenty of surprises", this family-friendly production "promises to be a giant hit!"

Join the lovable hero Jack (Kevin Wing), his larger-than-life mother Dame Tilamina Trot (Alistair Jolliffe), his mischievous brother Tommy (Sean Noone), and Buttercup (Rosemary Gowers), their tap-dancing cow, as they set off on an unforgettable journey to outwit the terrifying Giant Blunderbore (Harry Bowser).

Along the way, expect toe-tapping tunes, dazzling costumes, and a sprinkling of festive magic that will leave audiences of all ages beaming with delight.

Director Gill Halford said: "This year's pantomime is all about big laughs, big hearts, and even bigger adventures!

"With Dame Tilamina Trot's outrageous antics, Tommy's silly schemes, and Buttercup's dazzling dance moves, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

"We can't wait to welcome families to this enchanting show."

The intricate, magical set design is once again by Wendy Morris, a favourite from past pantomimes.

Her work is complemented by that of Sally Jolliffe as Assistant Director and Choreographer to bring this larger-than-life story to the stage.

Their collaboration ensures a "feast for the eyes, ears, and imagination".

For the first time ever, the Talisman Theatre is hosting a Relaxed Performance on 1 January 2025 at 2.30pm, making this festive favourite accessible to all. Relaxed performances are designed to create a welcoming and inclusive environment, especially for those who might benefit from a more sensory-friendly setting.

More details about the adjustments being made for this particular show, such as auditorium doors being left open to allow free movement, reduced capacity and no strobe lighting or pyrotechnics, can be found on the website.

Tickets are selling fast, with over 90 per cent already gone.

"Packed with giggles, gasps, and toe-tapping fun, it's the perfect festive treat," the Talisman added.

Running from Friday 20 December to Saturday 4 January at the Talisman Theatre, Barrow Road, Kenilworth, the show offers both evening and matinee performances.

Tickets are now available via the website or by contacting the Box Office direct on 01926 856548.
