Here are our top picks for the coming days.

1. Taskmaster

This summer, English Heritage and Taskmaster have joined forces to bring a "unique entertainment experience" to Kenilworth Castle.

The town's main tourist attraction is one of 17 heritage sites nationwide to take part in the scheme which will run from July 19 to August 31.

The collaboration will feature the hit BAFTA and Rose d'Or Award winning show Taskmaster, presenting a series of "engaging and playful tasks".

2. Pop Up Cafe

This summer, The Kenilworth Centre is "serving up double the excitement" with two separate events: the Holiday Pop-up Café and the Pop-up Youth Club, each offering their own "unique brand of fun and community spirit".

The Holiday Pop-up Café is open to families and children, and invites you to "relax, create, and connect in a welcoming environment".

Head down on Thursday 31 July from 3.30pm to 5.30pm.

3. Saturday Signing

Come and meet author Fran Hill, who will be signing copies of her new book, Home Bird at Kenilworth Books on Saturday 2 August.

Jackie Chadwick is 17 and living in a supported bedsit.

She’s still close to her foster parents and friends with (aka unofficial minder for) Amanda, their irresponsible daughter, but she’s enjoying her independence – until a fire leaves her temporarily homeless. As things go from bad to worse, Jackie has to decide how many chances you give someone who keeps letting you down.
