Here are our top picks for the coming days.

1. Saturday Signing

A flypast from two Hurricanes will feature as a popular community event returns to Kenilworth this weekend.

Abbey Fields is set to be taken over once again on Saturday 14 June as the Kenilworth Lions' Grand Show returns to town for 2025.

The two hurricanes from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will be overhead "at some point in the afternoon" with the event getting underway at 12.30pm.

The town centre park will also play host to a number of live bands, stalls, dancing and food and drink.

More details here.

2. Open Gardens

Gardens in Kenilworth are open for the National Garden Scheme again this year on 15 June from 12noon to 5.30pm.

There are 10 gardens open around the town, large and small with lots of flowers in different styles with herbaceous borders, wild areas, woodland and vegetables.

"Plenty to enjoy and inspire you with ideas for your own gardens," organisers said.

3. Tree House Sessions

The Tree House Bookshop's open mic night returns this weekend, for what could be the final time.

Saturday 14 June will mark the final edition of the Tree House Sessions - a free open mic night that welcomes music, poetry, and spoken word - before it goes on indefinite hiatus.

Always a varied evening, the sessions offer people the chance to perform or watch local art in the cosy surroundings of Kenilworth's second-hand bookshop - as well as being able to bring your own drinks and snacks, and buy books throughout the evening!
