Here are our top picks for the coming days.

1. Treehouse Sessions

Get ready for the final Treehouse Sessions of 2024 on Sunday 15 December!

Head down to Kenilworth's smallest music venue for a night of music, prose, poetry and more.

Treehouse session host, and local author, Dave Musson said he was excited to see what this month's edition brought with it.

He said: "You never know exactly what you're going to get at a Tree House session apart from one thing – a great night out! It's a wonderful, welcoming space for local performers to show us their art and for our audience to enjoy an evening of excellent entertainment.

"If an evening of music, poetry and maybe a few surprises along the way sounds like your sort of thing then please join us!"

3. Carols at the Castle

Another popular community event returns this weekend in the form of Carols at the Castle.

Run by Kenilworth Lions, the popular festive treat returns on Saturday.

Organisers said: "What better way to begin your Christmas celebrations than singing Carols at Kenilworth Castle? Forget the frantic last-minute shopping and start the festive season in the traditional manner.

"Our ancient castle ruins will be filled with the sights and sounds of Kenilworth Lions’ annual Carols at the Castle event on Saturday 14 December.

"The Coventry Salvation Army band will be joined by the children of St. Augustine’s School to provide the musical lead and also performances by students from Kenilworth School."
