Here are our top picks for the coming days:
1. Steam Express
A famous steam express will be travelling through South Warwickshire this weekend, as it makes the return journey from Birmingham to Salisbury.
The Cathedrals Express will pick passengers up at Warwick Parkway Railway Station on Saturday 2 March, with tickets starting at £129.
Passengers will board the special at Birmingham Snow Hill, Birmingham Moor Street, Widney Manor, Warwick Parkway and Banbury, with Warwickshire travellers getting picked up at 8am.
Organised by Vintage Trains, the express will be hauled by Castle Class Earl of Mount Edgcumbe or Clun Castle.
The express will then return to Warwick at 6.49pm on the return journey north.
2. Tapas Night
Head to East Chase Distillers this Friday (March 1) for a night of tapas, and gin!
Tapas Zampa will set up its mobile business at the East Chase Farm site from 4pm, cooking small plates fresh to order.
The two independent businesses have already collaborated twice over the past few months, with both nights a big success.
"Due to popular demand, East Chase Distillers are delighted to welcome back Tapas Zampa on Friday 1 March 2024 from 4pm," organisers said.
"Come along and enjoy some authentic Spanish tapas made fresh to order, whilst enjoying our range of delicious gins.
"We are fully booked from 6-7pm but tables still available between 4-5pm and 8-9pm."
3. In At The Deep End
Uncover the history of Kenilworth Abbey with archaeologist Bryn Gethin (Archaeology Warwickshire) next Monday (March 4).
Learn about the new discoveries after the recent archaeological work during the rebuilding of the swimming baths at Kenilworth Abbey Fields.
Refreshments provided before the talk.
