UP CLOSE: Kenilworth interiors specialist celebrates 'best ever year'
By James Smith 29th Mar 2026
A Kenilworth interiors specialist is celebrating its "best ever year" since launching over a decade ago.
2025 marked a landmark 12 months for Aquarius Interiors as it took on a record number of clients, employed more staff, opened its new showroom at Pilot Business Park in Coventry and celebrated five years of business at its "flagship" Kenilworth store.
Founded by Warren Offer and his wife Pam in 2014, the business started life in their garage but has grown rapidly to see the team working with hundreds of residential clients across Coventry and Warwickshire every year as well as commercial projects locally and internationally.
"I started the business working from my garage at home," Warren told Nub News.
"It started there with a small number of both domestic and commercial clients with our first contract on the Royal Caribbean cruise ship, the Oasis of the Seas, at the time, the biggest cruise liner in the world. From there we gradually built the company up."
"In 2016 we took a plot of land at Russells Gardner Centre in Baginton and set to build the business, which took it to the next level as we opened our first showroom and workshop.
"Then two years later, we took the bigger plot next door and built another building there which became our head office and storage area.
"Now we have outgrown that and moved to Pilot Trade Centre.
"And of course our Kenilworth store opened in 2020 which has been a game changer for our retail offering, where we offer expert advice from our own interiors designers"

Having spent 20 years working for his family's firm in Earlsdon, Warren's start with Aquarius saw him take on commercial contracts fitting out cruise ships.
This has steadily grown over the past decade with the team now working on vessels across the world in spots including Singapore, Alaska, Rotterdam, Bahamas, Australia to name but a few.
Aquarius also works with commercial partners closer to home including hotels, hospitality venues and other businesses, just recently, completed projects for the Holiday Inn in Kenilworth and Brownsover Hall Hotel in Rugby.
Warren continued: "This last 12 months has been our biggest year ever. We must have done over 30 ships all over the world.
"With the ships, we specialise in the public spaces and suites, but recently we've done cabins as well, in fact, in January this year, we supplied over 600 sets of curtains and sheers for the Marella Explorer 2, in Cadiz Spain.
"It's just turned into a massive business for us now.
"And with the new place we've got, it's all set up for it. We can make the curtains in our factory and then take them to the ships all ready to be installed.
"My fitting team travelled to Singapore in February to work on the Celebrity Solstice cruise ship, this year to install curtains and blinds in 14 public spaces and 70 suites, a project that took them three weeks to complete and were all supplied and manufactured in the UK and most of it right here in Coventry."

While the commercial side of the business continues to boom, Warren said the retail aspect of the company has been particularly enjoyable to grow.
Having opened the showroom at Abbey End during the pandemic, Aquarius has a town-centre site which allows customers to come and see the huge range of products and services on offer.
As well as blinds and curtains, the shop stocks paint (being the only Kenilworth stockist of the full Farrow & Ball range), upholstery fabrics, designer brands of wallpaper and more.
The team is happy to discuss and quote for installations - no matter how small or big it may be.
"We do the big cruises, hotels, all sorts of hospitality businesses on the commercial side, and then we have the retail as well," Warren added.
"I have a real passion for the retail side.
"When my parents started in the industry - 60 years ago now - they had a real passion for the retail side, and that has followed on with me.
"My mum once said, when you're going to somebody's house and just a few weeks later we turn it into their Home, that the nicest feeling you can get and that has really stuck with me and my team.
"That sounds quite corny, but that's the reality of it.
"You get real appreciation. Some of the comments that we get back from the customers, it's just lovely."

With a huge range of products across the different lines, Warren was also eager to stress that there is "something to suit all budgets".
And with the family-run business keeping that community-led feel, he said everyone is welcome to come and visit either showroom to see what Aquarius has to offer for themselves.
"We're not pushy at all; you can come in, you can have a look round. If you want to buy from us, great. If not, we're just happy to help," he said.
"We're here to support the community, not to cut corners or take advantage of people.
"We have got some high end brands, we've also got some more affordable products.
"You can come in and choose your fabrics that are hundreds of pounds per metre, or we have the more affordable from £20 per meter, we just wanted to be able to offer something for everyone.
