A Kenilworth gym is set to reveal a huge transformation this year thanks to a £250,000 refurbishment.

"Exciting developments" are on the horizon for Fitness Worx Gym Kenilworth, the first-ever location of the UK's largest independent gym chain.

The Common Lane site, which has been a cornerstone of the local fitness community for over a decade, will undergo a transformative £250,000 refit in 2025, marking a major milestone in its journey.

Since its opening, Fitness Worx Kenilworth has been at the heart of the brand's success story.

Initially renting the unit, the company has since purchased the building, solidifying its commitment to the location and paving the way for this ambitious upgrade.

And the refurb - which comes ahead of its 11th year anniversary - will be marked with an 'open weekend' on April 5 and 6 - which the community is invited to attend.

As well as installing new, state of the art equipment, the changing rooms and showers will be modernised, a new cardio room will be unveiled and the gym floor will be expanded to provide more training space.

The investment will also give a facelift to the outside of Fitness Worx Kenilworth, with a "fresh, contemporary look" to be completed.

"We're incredibly proud of our roots here in Kenilworth," said Jack Gibson, Fitness Worx Owner.

"Kenilworth is where it all began, and this refurbishment is our way of giving back to the community that has supported us from day one.

"Our goal is to create a space that inspires and empowers our members to achieve their fitness goals in a state-of-the-art environment."

As the largest independent gym chain in the UK, Fitness Worx says it prides itself on offering a "personal, community-focused fitness experience".

Other locations include Coventry Cannon Park and Tile Hill, Southam, Leamington, Warwick and Stratford upon Avon.
