South Warwickshire NHS Trust among best in the country - new rankings released

The trust behind Warwick Hospital has been named among the best in the country in a new ranking of NHS services.
NHS England has released the rankings for the first time this week, with South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust placed as the 25th best trust in the country.
Of the 134 trusts in the country, neighbouring University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust was ranked as the third worst.
Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust tops the list.
The rankings will be completed every three months, with the top performers given more power to spend funding, and the worst being encouraged to learn from the others.
Rankings are based on seven areas including operation waiting times, A&E times, cancer treatment and ambulance response times.
Trusts are then banded into four segments - segment one for the best and segment four for the worst.
South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust was placed in segment two.
Adam Carson, Acting Chief Executive of South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust, said: "Being placed in Segment 2 and ranked among the top 25 acute Trusts nationally is a fantastic achievement and a real credit to the hard work, dedication, and professionalism of our staff.
"It reflects the high-quality care we provide to our patients and communities every day.
"While we celebrate this success, our focus is to maintain a strong National Oversight Framework position through continuous improvement.
"We are committed to working closely with our Foundation Group partners - George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust, Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, and Wye Valley NHS Trust - as well as health and social care providers across the region, to enhance collaboration, share best practice, and drive ongoing progress to deliver high-quality, timely care for our communities."
