Solar panels, insulation and new windows installed at Kenilworth's Jubilee House

Solar panels, insulation and new windows have been installed at Kenilworth's Jubilee House to improve the building's energy efficiency.
Built in the 1960s, the building at Smalley Place was found to have "poor levels of insulation and was greatly in need of improvement".
The measures are expected to reduce heat demand in the building by up to 40 per cent and reduce carbon emissions by 21 tonnes per year.

Cllr Lowell Williams, portfolio holder for decarbonisation, said: "Improving the energy efficiency of the council's buildings is a key strategic priority of this council.
"I'm pleased to see that these measures have improved the fabric of Jubilee House for many years to come.
"The work continues at pace with our Low Cost, Low Carbon energy programme as we strive to lower energy bills and carbon emissions from buildings across the district."
Jubilee House is home to Kenilworth Town Council, local police, Sir Jeremy Wright's office and local businesses.
