The Shakespeare Express is set to make its final journey of the year through South Warwickshire this weekend.

Having made the journey from Birmingham to Stratford-upon-Avon multiple times through 2024, the excursion will head through the county once again on Sunday 10 November.

Run by Vintage Trains, the express will leave Birmingham Snow Hill at 10am and make its way south through Henley-in-Arden to reach Stratford at 11.05am.

The Shakespeare Express will then travel back to Birmingham - departing at 12.52 - and head through Claverdon en route.

Returning south again, it will then travel through Henley to reach Stratford at 3.10pm once again.

Expected to be hauled by Earl of Mount Edgcumbe, the excursion will depart the town for the final time at 4.13pm before reaching Birmingham at 5.12pm for the final time.
