Traffic lights are in place along a busy Kenilworth road to allow for gas works to take place.

The works along Glasshouse Lane are for Cadent Gas.

The Warwickshire County Council roadworks map says the two-way traffic lights near Stansfield Close could be in place until September 20.

"We're carrying out important maintenance works on our equipment, this activity ensures that we can continue to provide a safe and reliable gas supply to local businesses and residents," the closure notice said.

The footpath is closed for the works.

More roadworks are expected at the same site later this year to install a new roundabout for the Stoneleigh View housing estate.
