Road Closures confirmed for Kenilworth Remembrance Service

Road closure details for Kenilworth's Remembrance Service have been released on the Warwickshire County Council website.

On Sunday (November 12), the Remembrance Sunday service will see road closures across the town centre for the parade.

Starting out at the Copper House Club in Park Road at 10.15am, the parade will make its way towards the war memorial at the top of Abbey Fields.

Scouts and Guides will assemble at Talisman Square and join the rear of the parade as it passes Southbank Road.

The Remembrance Service will begin at 10.45am at the War Memorial, where the wreathes will be laid.

After the service, the parade will form again on Forrest Road and march past - taking the salute from the Mayor of Kenilworth - and return to the Copper House Club.

The following closures will be in place from 8am to 12noon:

  • Abbey Hill
  • Abbey End
  • Southbank Road
  • Forrest Road

Rolling closures will be in place throughout the morning for:

  • Park Road
  • Albion Street
  • Station Road.
  • Upper Rosemary Hill
