Nuisance motorbikes continue to tear up Kenilworth Common

Antisocial behaviour and vandalism continue to be an issue around Kenilworth Common.
Warwickshire Wildlife Trust issued an urgent plea in the summer after ramps were being created and motorbike riders were using the park for joyriding.
But at Kenilworth Town Council's latest meeting, councillors said the issue remains.
Cllr James Kennedy said: "Those of us in Dalehouse Ward have been very much involved with residents and people who live around the common concerned about antisocial behaviour and high-powered motorbikes and people building jumps and destroying the natural environment there.
"We have had a report from the district council on a cross-agency basis to put in various measures but I have contacted them today to review that as we are still having reports."
The trust, alongside Warwick District Council, said "vital habitats" inside the nature reserve were being "routinely" damaged.
In particular, the trust has said the common is a safe space for the "elusive" glow-worm.
Bike riding through the reserve is said to be "disastrous for the glow-worms and the other wildlife living" there.
