Swastikas and other anti-Semitic graffiti has been spotted in Kenilworth's Bullimore Wood over the past few days.

Locals have reportedly been painting over some of the hurtful imagery, which has been sprayed onto trees, fences and walls.

Video evidence of the incidents is reportedly being looked into.

One resident said to Nub News: "Appalling graffiti appeared in Bullimore Wood within the last few days.

"Images show the action residents have taken to prevent causing members of the Jewish faith anymore hurt than they are now receiving in the press.

"Some examples of unsavoury graffiti are, sadly, still exposed.

"Video evidence is being looked at and increased surveillance is now in place.

"The sooner Kenilworth Town Council acts in making the space a 'community asset' the better. How long could this take? Years?"
