A "clever, psychological thriller for the dark nights" is set to come to the Talisman Theatre this November.

Running from Monday 7 to Saturday 12, the Barrow Road venue will present John Peacock's Children of the Wolf.

With echoes of the myth of Romulus and Remus, Children of the Wolf is a dark, engrossing play, with a shocking twist.

Helena receives a letter from Michael, a lover from the distant past, to meet at a house they once frequented.

But when she arrives, she is greeted instead by a mysterious young couple.

How do they know so much about her and her former beau? Where is Michael; and why does this couple persist with intimate questions about her past?

Questions that have a devastating effect on Helena and lead to a shocking revelation and a horrific conclusion.

The Talisman said the play contains violent and sexual content, so is not suitable for children.

Performances start at 7.30pm each night and tickets start at £10.

The Talisman Theatre has also recently received a further £35,000 towards its redevelopment project from Kenilworth Town Council.

The £1.3million project will eventually see a two-storey extension, a new studio and lift built.

The Talisman Theatre is the exclusive sponsor of Kenilworth Nub News' What's On section.

Without community-minded partners like them we would not be able to produce dedicated, clickbait-free news to the people of Kenilworth.
