£150,000 has been knocked off the asking price for a popular Kenilworth cocktail bar and hotel.
The Kenilworth, on Warwick Road, was put up for sale with property agent Shortland Horne at the start of the year for £1,650,000.
But with the 11-bedroom hotel still unsold, potential buyers could now snap up the property for £1.5 million.
The business, which remains open to customers, was put on the market less than a year after sister site The Edgbaston in Birmingham went up for sale.
The Shortland Horne website describes The Kenilworth (also known as 61 Warwick Road) as: "A superb opportunity to purchase the renowned cocktail bar 'The Kenilworth' and boutique bed and breakfast accommodation.
"This 16th century property is a real gem located in Kenilworth town centre on Warwick Road.
"Boasting 11 beautifully fitted rooms with en-suites (four of which are located to the rear in separate accommodation). There is adequate parking to the rear and great garden space for entertaining.
"The accommodation is flexible with plenty of character throughout.
"The building is adaptable to a number of uses and has the potential to be further enhanced with a strong reputation with award winning cocktail bartenders.
"The Kenilworth is made up of three 16th century cottages which stand out in the town.
"With a contemporary yet cosy ambience the cocktail bar is warm and inviting and its ability to deliver time and time again is well known throughout the area."
The hotel is mostly made of a 16th century building and is described as a "real gem".
The property also includes a four-bedroom house to the rear on Harger Court and "fabulous outside entertaining space".
