A pop up shop raising money for a 16-month-old boy who has lost three limbs is coming to Kenilworth this week.

Fundraisers will be hosting a raffle and selling books, toys, handmade crafts, and plants at Abbey End this week all in aid of Rhoman-Gray.

The toddler from Nuneaton had to have both legs and an arm amputated earlier this year after contracting meningococcal septicaemia.

Following 14 surgeries, Rhoman-Gray is now recovering while his family tries to raise £10,000 to help pay for high-tech prosthetic limbs for him.

To aid the fundraising, family friend Di Carter is running the pop up shop at 1 Abbey End between August 17 and 19 from 10am to 4pm.

Di is encouraging local people to donate what they can to the shop and to come down and help raise some funds.

Local businesses have also been quick to support Rhoman-Gray's cause, donating a variety of raffle prizes including:

  • Breakfast for two at Pomeroys
  • £10 voucher for Kenilworth Books
  • Family ticket to the Mad Museum in Stratford
  • £40 voucher for Ego
  • £40 voucher for Karen Delahunty sewing shop
  • £45 voucher for Lil Greens
  • Afternoon tea for two at the Rocking Horse
  • £30 voucher for Ale Rooms
  • £15 voucher for Serious Style hairdressers

Other prizes have also been donated by:

  • Manor House fireplaces
  • Sylvesters the Jewellers
  • Antigo
  • Buds and Bows
  • Iceland
  • Waitrose
  • Revolve at The Studio
  • Forrest Coffee Shop
  • Sainsburys
  • Kay Reflexology
  • Kenilworth Pet and Garden Supplies

So far the family has raised over £4,000 towards Rhoman's prosthetics.

Upcoming fundraisers also include two family fun days this September.
