Police have responded to multiple calls about "anti-social behaviour" from youths in Kenilworth this weekend.

Descriptions and images of some of the offenders have been given to police, who will now work with local schools to trace those involved.

Complaints have been received about young people climbing on apartment roofs and banging doors in the town.

Police added that they want to educate those involved, with the help of parents, to prevent future offences.

A Kenilworth and Warwick Rural Police Force spokesperson said: "We have unfortunately been receiving calls about youths that have been banging on doors, climbing on roofs of apartment buildings and causing general anti-social behaviour which is causing upset to residents.

"We have descriptions and images of some of the offenders and will be working with the schools to identify those so we can engage with both the children and their parents and guardians to educate them on the impact they have on those affected, and the danger they put themselves into by climbing up to places that are unsafe."
