Nine week closure announced for Rouncil Lane

Rouncil Lane will be closed from today (November 8) for nine weeks to allow for a High Voltage cable to be installed.

Diversions will be in place until January 10 according to Warwickshire County Council.

The cable will be installed by Western Power Distribution.

The closures will come in two parts. Firstly the road will be closed from its junction with Dirty Lane to outside Fernhill Cottages.

It will then be closed from the cottages to the junction with Rounds Hill.

WCC highways department has not indicated when the first phase is likely to finish and the second likely to start.
