Flood alerts raised for Kenilworth and South Warwickshire

Multiple flooding alerts have been issued around Kenilworth and South Warwickshire.

The environment raised the alert for Canley and Finham Brooks in Kenilworth this morning (November 14) as Storm Claudia hits the UK.

Alerts have also been issued for the Rivers Avon, Leam and Itchen.

The Canley and Finham Brook alert said: "Flooding is possible from the morning of 14 November 2025.

"Flooding may affect low-lying land and roads adjacent to River Sowe between Bedworth and Baginton, River Sherboune between Allesley and Whitley, Canley Brook between Tile Hill and Canley and the Finham Brook at Kenilworth.

"We are closely monitoring the situation.

"Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water."

Meanwhile of the River Avon, the Environment Agency said flooding could impact from Rugby to Bidford including Warwick and Stratford upon Avon.

An amber weather warning has also been issued by the Met Office.
